Feasibility Studies

Many customers are unsure what options are available for their refit or upgrade requirements. This is where a Feasibility Assessment or Options Assessment is required to clearly present what is available and achievable. 

 

An assessment of the concept is undertaken and a report is delivered so that the customer is able to clearly understand the facts, figures, limitations and risks associated with the proposal. The report will ultimately allow the owner to decide the option that fits their requirements.  The conclusion will consider the technical, financial and management data to  take your ideas into the next step which is a detailed design solution.

Stabiliser upgrades

Does your vessel experience excessive roll when at sea? Or do you want to upgrade your current system to operate at anchor?  Zero-speed stabilisers and marine stabiliser solutions have huge impacts on passenger comfort and vessel capability.

Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) integration

The IMO Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention may require your vessel to be fitted with a Type Approved Ballast Water Treatment System.  These systems come in a wide variety of sizes and treatment systems.  Integrating these systems can be a complex and challenging task, especially where space is limited.  We at IME have the knowledge and expertise to help define, design and integrate BWTS to your vessel.

Exhaust Filtration Systems / Dust Particulate Filtration (DPF)

Excessive fumes and smoke from your engines can affect the comfort and cleanliness of your vessel and experience.  At IME we have the expertise to assess, design and integrate DPF and exhaust filtration systems to suit your needs. HVAC systems Upgrades

Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems form an integral function to vessels and are a key component to the original design, including electrical power and chilled water plant equipment.
